Beckham urges Gerrard to carry on

Former England captain David Beckham has urged Liverpool and England skipper Steven Gerrard to stay on as the national team leader despite the country’s failure to reach the second round in the recently concluded World Cup in Brazil.

The Liverpool legend will be pushing 36 by the time Euro 2016 hits France but is just two appearances away from breaking the all time outfield record for England currently held by Beckham with 115 appearances for the Three Lions.
