BECKHAM IN NO RUSH
The former England captain David Beckham has said that he will not be rushing his next destination, despite getting a lot of offers. The 37-year-old is one of the most wanted players across the world due to the fact that he is available on a free transfer after leaving LA Galaxy at the end of the season.
He has been linked with clubs from England, France, China, and Spain. The QPR manager Harry Redknapp recently revealed that he would certainly consider the prospect of bringing Beckham to the Loftus Road. However, his most likely destination is set to be the French club Monaco.
Due to the fact that David Beckham will not be required to pay taxes on his income and spend his days at the incredibly popular and attractive Monaco, it is thought that the French club are the front-runners in the race to sign the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and AC Milan midfielder. Monaco will also be able to compete with the best clubs in the world when it comes to the wages on offer due to the fact that they are bankrolled by a Russian billionaire. There have also been several clubs from China, who have been very active in bringing high profile players, as well.
"There are a number of serious proposals on the table from a host of clubs across the world. David is no hurry to make a decision, the key is making the right one as he has always done successfully in his career. It's early days in the process. David is enjoying spending quality time with his family over the holidays," said David Beckham's agent. The 37-year-old completed his MLS career by helping LA Galaxy win the second consecutive MLS cup title this season. He spent five years at the club.
