TRANSITION

David Beckham wore the Manchester United jersey for 10 seasons becoming one of the most important players in the history of the club and despite his recent negotiations with Major League Soccer surrounding the English former footballer, Beckham still has time to speak his mind about what he feels David Moyes will do with the club.

Sir Alex Ferguson took the role of coaching Manchester United since 1986 and he spanned a total of 27 seasons in charge of the club becoming an icon and claiming 13 Premier League titles as well as 5 FA Cups and 2 Champions League just naming a few of the most recognized silverware that the Scottish coach achieved during his time ahead of Manchester United.

Under the guidance of the new coach David Moyes, the club has taken a huge turn and don’t seem to be the same squad team that won their league only 1 season ago. Suffering from losses against Liverpool, Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Newcastle United, the amount of points already dropped has seen them fall further and further behind in the Premier League and they now are placed in the middle section of the standings after one of their worsts starts in recent years.

Despite the recent downhill path of performances and bad results, the former Manchester United player David Beckham says that everyone is behind David Moyes and thinks that he will be successful.

“There was always going to be a transitional period with the manager leaving and a new manager coming in. I think David Moyes is a great manager and a good person. The fans will never forget what Sir Alex did for Manchester United, but there is a new manager that the players are behind and the fans are behind and I think he’ll be very successful.”
